OVERVIEW OF INSTITUTE FOR INFORMATION INDUSTRY(III)
III is a non-profit organization jointly founded by the private and public sectors in 1979, that aims to promote innovated application of ICT industry and facilitate the development of digital economy of Taiwan.
Core value & roles
III’s participation in the AFACT community started from the very beginning when Chinese Taipei joined AFACT in 1990, and undertook the role of Permanent Secretariat from 2001 to 2009. In 2022, with the support of AFACT members, III assumed the Permanent Secretariat again to carry out the mandate and mission of the organization.

Ms. Vivian Huang (黃瓊雅)
Ms. Vivian Huang is General Secretary of AFACT, and concurrently International
Cooperation Strategy Officer of Institute for Information Industry (III).
With extensive international experience, she previously led III’s International Division and has played a vital role in promoting major international trade and cooperation projects.
